good quality for the low price per night. Although i didnt get a sea view i liked the fact it was 5 minutes walk from the sea front and town centre.

We stayed at this hotel for one night when there was a big football match on in Torquay - so it was a bit busy but there was no rowdiness or anything. Our rooms were imaculate and we were very lucky to have two rooms facing the sea so we had very nice balconies to sit out on.Our children loved the heated pool. We all enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were all very nice and friendly and helpful giving us directions to town etc. We had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone with children because of the pool (so it didn't matter the weather was poor) A very cosy hotel.
The hotel is rather ugly from the outside which I guess must put some people off. Inside our rooms were modern and tastefully decorated,The public areas were old worldly - just like how an English beachside hotel should be!

nice room but needs better service
The family room was quite spacious, providing ample space for our group. Its distance from the coast allowed for pleasant walks without feeling crowded.
The distance from the coast could be a downside for those wanting quick beach access.

The sea view from our room was fine! It was wonderful to enjoy the fresh air and relax by the small park nearby. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, our stay was pleasant. I liked that my friends felt relaxation too, thanks to the great views.
the bed was pretty uncomfortable, definitely could be better.

Really friendly staff, especially on arrival. Booked a twin room which had a large double bed and a single. Clean and tidy rooms.
Service at the bar was very disorganised. The hotel advertised all sea rooms but there was none available when we arrived. Also swimming pool was closed and we didn't recieve a discount for either of these. Check-in time - 4pm was far too late.

it was a small hotel which was up off the main road, still only a five minute walk but away from all the noise which was really nice. The woman running the hotel was very welcoming and the rooms were large with balconies, ours overlooking the sea. All in all a great stay!
The only thing we were disapointed in was the fact that the hotel advertised that they had a pool, which when we went was empty and having renovations on it.

lovely as single guest to have double room with balcony & sea view, also liked opportunity for informal bar meals, convenient location near seafront & evening entertainment, and all staff really friendly & helpful
not knowing in advance that the swimming pool would be out of action at time of my visit
